Operations Manager – Mechanical / Pumps

📍 Manchester (with travel to Glasgow)

💷 Up to £60,000 + Bonus + £5,000 Car Allowance

We are working with a growing and well-established pumps and mechanical services business to recruit an Operations Manager to lead service delivery across key contracts and regions.

This role will suit someone with a strong mechanical pumps background, ideally gained within healthcare, education, or estates environments, who understands the importance of compliance, uptime, and critical asset management.

The Role

* Oversee day-to-day operations across sites in Manchester and Glasgow

* Lead and manage engineering teams delivering maintenance and project works

* Ensure high levels of service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction

* Drive operational performance across PPM, reactive works, and small projects

* Manage budgets, resources, and commercial performance

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients

* Support business growth and identify new opportunities

What We’re Looking For

* Strong background in mechanical engineering / pumps

* Experience working within healthcare, NHS, estates, or education environments
