Head of Hardware Job in Huntingdon - £100k-£120k

Hexwired is recruiting for a specialised technology firm, based in Huntingdon now seeking a Head of Hardware to work with international teams to build and deploy the firm’s next generation products.

The company is expanding to meet the needs of their clients and are seeking a new hands on Head of Hardware, with 10+ years of experience in FPGA design, digital logic and low latency system development.

This is a Head of Hardware role mainly focussing on leading the FPGA and digital design engineering team, encompassing all aspects of hardware design while driving innovation and advancements.

Key skills:

· 10+ years of experience in FPGA design, digital logic, and low-latency system development.

· Proven expertise in digital design and verification.

· Proficiency in system Verilog and Xilinx FPGA design tools.

· Advanced degree in Electronics engineering, Computer engineering, or a related field.

· Working knowledge of C++, Rust, and Python.

· Demonstrated success in leading & mentoring engineering teams.
