About the Role

Paragon Home Healthcare is looking for female Complex Homecare Nurses to support a young woman returning home after a long hospital stay. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference by helping her transition safely and confidently into her home environment.
She lives with complex long-term conditions including chronic pancreatitis, hypermobility/Ehlers-Danlos features, chronic pain and neurodivergent needs. Nurses will play a key role in delivering structured, person-centred care and supporting her independence.
Youll provide holistic nursing care including:
Complex medication management (subcutaneous and jejunal routes)
Bowel care and pain management
Respiratory support and safe mobility
Calm, consistent communication and routine-based care
Supporting daily living tasks such as light household duties and feeding her cats
You will have HCA support during the day (08:0020:00) to assist with mobility, supervision, and household tasks, ensuring you can focus on clinical care.
Youll be supported by clear protocols and a Nurse Practitioner-led team to ensure you feel confident and equipped in your role.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, individualised nursing care in the home
Manage and administer complex medication regimens safely
Support an individual with autism using a calm, structured approach
Monitor and respond to changes in condition, maintaining accurate records
Work collaboratively with the clinical team, family, and other professionals
Pay and Shifts

Day Shift: 08:0020:00 (£33.84/hr weekdays, £40.60/hr weekends)
Night Shift: 20:0008:00 (£40.60/hr weekdays and weekends)
Bank holiday pay at 150% and Christmas pay at 200%
Location: BN41 Brighton
Travel Reimbursement:

25p per mile up to 200 miles, 30p per mile beyond, capped at £40 per shift to prevent fatigue.
What Were Looking For

Experience: Complex care experience
Qualifications: Valid NMC registration
Skills: Strong clinical and mentoring abilities
Female nurse required for personal care (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1)
