Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Adult & Specialist Rehabilitation Services Division provides high quality care to patients. The Adults & Specialist Rehabilitation Division announce the role of Physiotherapy Clinical Team Lead for the Inpatient Therapy team. This opportunity is to work across the In-Patient Therapy Teams based at Moseley Hall Hospital and contribute to the leadership and management of the Service in this capacity.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with the Service Clinical Manager to deliver on service priorities around managing flow and supporting the Therapy team alongside the existing B7 Occupational Therapy Clinical Team Lead. The Therapy team at Moseley Hall consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and therapy assistants.

You will be part of the In-Patient Therapy management team for the Division, ensuring the Team's voice is integral to the transformation and future direction of the service.

Responsibilities
  • Support discharge to assess pathways and provide clinical leadership to facilitate discharge and maintain appropriate length of stay.
  • Collaborate with the Inpatient Therapy management team to ensure effective, safe and excellent care for patients, families, carers and staff.
  • Work with expert clinical and operational teams (e.g., Single Transfer of Care Hub) to deliver on service priorities and improvements.
  • Provide leadership and development for the In-Patient Therapy team to ensure service priorities are met.
