Post – Team Lead Physiotherapist
Location – ELCH
Grade – Band 7
Contract – Permanent
Salary – Band 7 (£50,861 - £59,159)


Responsibilities

Managing and overseeing physiotherapy services across three Medicine of the Elderly rehabilitation wards – two general and one pan‑Lothian orthopaedic ward – supporting patients who are unable to be discharged from acute care due to illness or injury. Delivering a person‑centred, rehabilitation‑focused and home‑first model of care and working closely with a multidisciplinary team.


Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy with relevant postgraduate clinical experience in orthopaedics, neurology and frailty. Strong leadership and communication skills are required.


Additional Requirements

This post requires post holder to have PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
