An opportunity has arisen for Band 6 MSK Physiotherapists to join our inclusive and driven team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust.

We Have Several Opportunities On Offer

  • One full time post based at Kenilworth clinic and Orchard Centre, Rugby
  • Two part time posts based at Leamington Rehab Hospital. Longer working hours may be required on certain days to cover certain classes.

This role will provide you opportunity to supervise undergraduate and rotational physiotherapists and lead a variety of exercise classes and audits. We offer a generous monthly comprehensive in service training plan in which you will be supported to contribute.

Coaching and Mentoring opportunities are on offer to aid your career progression as well as opportunity to deputise for Team Leads and support service development projects.

Our clinical sites are supported by a team of Advanced Practice physiotherapists who will be available to discuss clinical queries and provide opportunity for you to shadow their clinics. We also have close working links and support from physiotherapy colleagues in Pelvic health, Orthopaedics, Pain, Neuro and Respiratory.

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust covers a ‘7 day’ inpatient service hence this post also includes orthopaedic weekend working.

To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients in specialist area.

To work as an accountable and autonomous practitioner, holding responsibility for own caseload.

To work in conjunction with the Pathway and Team leads in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the Physiotherapy service within the speciality on a day to day basis.

To take a role in the provision of support and clinical supervision of less experienced physiotherapy staff and undergraduate students.

To deputise for the Team leaders as required.

To keep accurate records of patient contact using written records and electronic data capture.

To contribute to out of hours working as required.

To maintain own competency to practise.
