House of Hound Canine Hydrotherapy Centre is expanding and we’re looking for a dedicated, motivated and compassionate Veterinary Physiotherapist and Hydrotherapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.


We’re proud to be one of Yorkshire’s leading centres for canine rehabilitation and behaviour, offering physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, laser therapy, gait re-education, performance conditioning, and behavioural support. Our approach is evidence-based, welfare-led and highly collaborative, combining expertise across disciplines to deliver exceptional care.


About the Role

You’ll be joining a busy, well-established and forward-thinking practice, working on a varied and complex caseload ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management, neurological rehabilitation and performance conditioning.


We welcome applications from

  • Experienced Veterinary Physiotherapists with Hydrotherapy skills
  • Experienced Physiotherapists keen to undertake Hydrotherapy training (funded training available for the right candidate)

You’ll work closely with a Clinical Animal Behaviourist (MSc), ACPAT Veterinary Physiotherapist, and an experienced team of hydrotherapists and rehabilitation specialists, forming part of a supportive and professional MDT environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for a wide range of orthopaedic, neurological, and behavioural cases.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in case reviews, behaviour–pain interactions, and rehabilitation planning.
  • Contribute to training, education and continual professional development (CPD).
  • Support ongoing research, professional development and clinical innovation.

About you

  • RAMP, ACPAT Cat A, or NAVP registered (essential).

  • Confident managing a varied and complex caseload with evidence of experience.
  • Keen to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Interested in education, mentoring, and long-term professional growth.
