This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Managed Service Provider as a Technical Design Consultant, where you’ll work on a wide variety of technical projects, helping businesses modernise and get the best from their technology.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, client-focused Technical Design Consultant to join the Professional Services team. This role blends traditional infrastructure expertise with cutting-edge cloud and modern workplace technologies.

You’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering technical solutions – from infrastructure upgrades to Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations – all while shaping secure, scalable, and collaborative environments for clients. As a Technical Design Consultant, you’ll play a key role in guiding businesses through transformation and ensuring solutions are delivered to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions (servers, networking, cloud integration)

  • Leading Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace deployments (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)

  • Supporting endpoint management and security with Intune, Autopilot, and Defender

  • Working with clients to assess environments and build transformation roadmaps

  • Running technical workshops, producing documentation, and delivering handovers

  • Troubleshooting complex hybrid infrastructure and M365 issues

  • Keeping ahead of emerging technologies to ensure clients get the best solutions

    What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years’ experience in infrastructure/M365 consulting (MSP or IT services background ideal)

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization

  • Experience across Microsoft 365 platforms (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)

  • Familiarity with Azure AD, Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint, and PowerShell scripting

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, MD-102 (or equivalent) highly desirable
