Mechanical Project Manager – Security-Sensitive Site

Location: Berkshire, Newbury Area

Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 (DOE)

Core Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead complex, high-security engineering projects in the Berkshire / Newbury area.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Management

Lead and manage end-to-end mechanical engineering projects on a secure site.

Develop detailed project plans covering schedules, budgets, and resources.

Coordinate with electrical, civil, and structural teams.

Ensure all mechanical designs and installations meet project, client, and regulatory requirements.

NEC4 contract knowledge preferred but not essential.

2. Security Compliance (BPSS-Specific)

Must hold or be eligible to obtain BPSS clearance — mandatory before site access.

Ensure subcontractors and personnel comply with BPSS and site security protocols.

Maintain strict confidentiality, data protection, and access control standards.

Manage secure documentation and communications in line with project protocols.

Support security audits and investigations as required.
