Recruitment Manager - Engineering at CK Group

CK Group are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Technician to join a well-established and successful global pharmaceutical company, based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, on a permanent basis.


The working hours are Monday – Friday, 07:30-16:00 or 09:30-18:00 on a rotational basis (Call out rota 1 in 6 weeks).


This role has responsibility for the reliable and compliant operation of the estate-wide services and equipment. The successful candidate will plan and undertake routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment causing minimal disruption.


Your Background:



  • Engineering qualification – Mechanical Bias is preferred
  • Experience in domestic and low temperature hot water systems (LTHW)
  • Experience with Air Handling and Chilled Water Systems
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
  • Happy to be on call (1 in 6), includes attending site Sat/Sun and bank holidays to blow down boilers and carry out plant room checks
