Please note – we’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role, so applicants must have full right to work in the UK## Job Description The Job Mission This hybrid site focused role requires candidates living within commuting distance of Bridgwater, or willing to relocate with support. You will join your future team supporting mechanical construction activities on one of the UK’s most significant energy projects. The role offers hands on experience and strong exposure to large scale engineering environments.Responsibilities: Assist with mechanical installation works following drawings and specifications Support senior engineers resolving construction queries during installation phases Participate in mechanical inspections and contribute to routine site walkdowns Maintain accurate construction records, inspection findings and progress updates Help review documentation to ensure alignment with approved engineering details Liaise with contractors to support coordinated delivery across site activities Contribute to quality checks on installed mechanical equipment and systems Promote safe working practices across all allocated construction work frontsRequired Skills and Qualifications Qualification in mechanical engineering or a construction related discipline Experience working in construction or heavy industrial project environments Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings and documents Understanding of mechanical components used in construction installations Background from utilities, water, power generation or general construction Confident using Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation tasks Willing to work full time on site in the Bridgwater area Join your future team on-site at one of the most ambitious nuclear power projects in Europe.
