We are on the lookout for competent engineers for our HAI / ATEX division.


As an already experienced CompEx Mechanical Engineer, you will be able to demonstrate a wide range of knowledge and a desire to go the extra mile, ensuring the ability to answer our client's needs. You will enjoy speaking to clients in person and taking the initiative to get tasks done.

The Role

This is a field-based role. Company van and fuel card provided.


This role will cover multiple sites across South West England for our Wessex Water frameworks.


Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid and travel time paid door to door.



  • Primary duties will include:
  • Project installation
  • ATEX inspections
  • ATEX report creation.

Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.


Required

  • Relevant Mechanical qualification (essential)
  • Relevant CSCS card (or similar) (essential)
  • CompEx EX11 (we can upskill)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good client engagement and communication skills
  • Fit for work medical.

Desirable

  • EUSR
  • PASMA / IPAF / Confined Space
  • Experience within water, construction, or industrial industries.
