The Role:

Contracted to 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday. Paid hourly with overtime paid. You will be paid travel time door to door on top of your contracted and overtime hours.


We are hiring due to an increase in workload across the South West region.


Company Van with fuel card issued.


Role Purpose:

  • To be responsible for supervising mechanical instillations
  • Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the projects quality plan and inspection and test plans
  • To follow and promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients
  • Promote positive health and well-being amongst their peers

We are on the lookout for competent engineers for our HAI / ATEX division.


As an already experienced CompEx Mechanical Engineer, you will be able to demonstrate a wide range of knowledge and a desire to go the extra mile, ensuring the ability to answer our client's needs. You will enjoy speaking to clients in person and taking the initiative to get tasks done.

Essential:

  • Experience as Mechanical Supervisor or Fitter
  • Experience within water, construction, or industrial industries.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Fit for work medical.
  • Good client engagement and communication skills
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification
  • SSSTS/SMSTS

Desirable:

  • EUSR
  • PASMA/IPAF
  • Confined Space
  • Inspection and testing certification
