Title: Design Engineer
Location: King’s Lynn
Hours: Mon – Thurs 8am to 5pm, Fri 7am to 2.30pm
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DoE)

Are you a creative problem-solver with a passion for engineering design? Our client, a fast-growing engineering business, is looking for a talented Design Engineer to join their team.

The Role
As a Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for turning ideas into practical solutions – taking concepts from design through to manufacture. Working closely with production, sales, and project teams, you’ll create accurate, efficient, and innovative designs that meet customer needs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks

* Collaborate with colleagues across production, sales, and projects to deliver tailored solutions

* Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements

* Provide technical support during manufacture and installation

* Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems

What We’re Looking For

* Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential)

* Experience in the food & beverage industry (highly desirable)

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* Confident working independently and as part of a team
