Summary

We are seeking for a skilled Mechanic and/or Bodyshop Technician to join our busy workshop. You will play a vital role in maintaining and customizing 4x4 vehicles, ensuring each build meets our high standards and customer expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Modifying vehicles to customer requirements, including, but not exclusive to bumpers, winches, canopies, brakes, underbody armour, suspension upgrades, roof tents, etc
  • Auto-electrical work- diagnostics, wiring, making bespoke wiring harnesses
  • Preparing vehicle for and applying underbody wax treatment (Dinitrol)
  • General servicing and repairs
  • Conduct full vehicle examinations and identify non-routine issues, faults, defects while in the workshop, as well as during a road test
  • MIG Welding
  • Preparation and repair of bodywork to primer stage
  • Keeping work area clean and tidy
  • Keeping detailed records of all work done on each vehicle
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality procedures.

  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Excellent xrnqpay problem-solving skills and attention to detail, logic and common sense in regard to work methods applied to achieve high quality results
  • Honesty with high levels of integrity
  • Thoroughness and ability to work with defined processes and guidelines

Qualifications/ Experience Required

  • Mechanic- fully qualified, experience 3 years (preferred)
  • Auto electrical (1 year preferred)
  • Welding- fully qualified (1 year preferred)
  • Full UK drivers licence (required)
