Job Overview

We're looking for a site based Mechanical Engineer to deliver excellent service standards, meet SLA requirements, and keep our buildings operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

As a static Mechanical Engineer, you will:



  • Maintain and repair:

    • Plumbing systems
    • Ventilation systems (AHUs, extract/intake)
    • Heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs)
    • Water assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters)


  • Deliver high‑quality service and respond effectively to client queries.
  • Identify and report defects, ensuring all documentation, inspection reports, remedial logs, etc. are completed accurately and on time.
  • Carry out manual tasks including working at height.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety, Permit to Work, and safe‑system‑of‑work procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working in Maintenance or Facilities Management.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
  • IT literate with confidence using mobile devices for workflows and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
