Overview

The post holder will be based across two sites: within the Rehabilitation Unit at St Mary's Hospital (in- and out-patient work across maternity and gynaecology) and in the Physiotherapy department at North Manchester General Hospital (out-patient setting).


Responsibilities

  • Carry an independent caseload of Urogynaecology and Obstetric patients and support Band 7 Physiotherapists with planning, organisation and delivery of care within out-patients and in-patients.
  • Deliver a high standard of evidence-based Physiotherapy.
  • Delivery of evidence-based physiotherapy management of patients with pelvic health presentations.
  • Supervision of less experienced staff (e.g., B5s and assistants).
  • Clinical mentorship of student physiotherapists.
  • Service development projects, such as audit and quality improvement programmes.
  • Participate in weekend Saturday rota as applicable.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Previous pelvic health experience and a commitment to advance these skills with support.
  • Flexible attitude, excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
