Overview

This role allows an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Critical Care and Respiratory team, who have wide ranging clinical experience, good communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient-centred care.

Join our friendly and supportive team of therapists, where continuous professional development, research and quality improvement processes are encouraged. There is a well-established in-service education programme, where you can build upon your clinical and managerial skills with support from senior clinical leads.

Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for the Physiotherapy intervention for patients admitted to CCU and the acute respiratory adult in patient ward
  • To undertake assessments of respiratory out patients as require
  • Prioritise physiotherapy referrals in order to implement effective and timely caseload management
  • Determine clinical diagnosis and provide physiotherapy treatment indicated as an autonomous practitioner, developing appropriate care plans, giving specialist clinical/professional advice to patients, carers and other Health Care Professionals
On-call and rota

Candidates will be expected to join and partake in our overnight emergency on call rota and weekend working rotas and previous experience of working within respiratory / Critical Care field is essential. You will also be expected to work as part of a seven day rota.
