Do you want to feel appreciated and work as part of a high performing but caring team?

Are you looking for a new challenge to stop you getting bored?

Are you looking for work? Perhaps it may be time for a change?

We are looking to expand our team and have a vacancy for someone who fits our company culture.

Our team is forward thinking and proactive and are looking to take on and develop our next Physio superstar.

The role is based in Bath which is open Monday to Saturday. This is a full time employed position. You will need to have some experience in a private clinic. Flexibility to provide care for patients around their schedule would be helpful.

Our current team is lovely, proactive, organised and ready to grow. We want to maintain our personal approach with our staff and patients. We aim to provide clinical excellence as a team, so we would need your help with your skills to maintain our exceptionally high level of care as part of the whole business.

Skills and Experience to start:

  • We need someone who is great at engaging with patients
  • Do you enjoy talking to people and providing an excellent patient experience?
  • Are you great with time management and you love detail?
  • We see a wide range of patients, often with complex problems needing different therapies. Are you open minded to working with a team?
  • You should be organised and love to collaborate with others
  • We love positive, friendly and professional therapists
  • All our therapists are keen to progress their careers and skills to the next level so provide the best evidence based clinical care
  • And of course you’ll need to be reliable and turn up on time

Your role when you start:

We offer regular training on a weekly timetable to support and help all our team

  • This means that you would have a good understanding of all locations, services and therapies
  • Any admin skills you don’t have related to the role we would work on with you
  • You would be provided a clinical mentor who would fit your style of practice and work
  • You would be learning how we achieve our excellent results and be part of the team delivering these high standards
  • We would show you how to develop your skills at any level by creating a fundamentally different way of practicing which avoids the pitfalls of working in the UK healthcare industry and working alone
  • We would require some basic admin duties around clinical note keeping but essentially the role is almost all patient focused and working with the team at Perfect Balance Clinic.

We’d love to speak to you as if this sounds interesting and you’ve read this far then you could be just what we are looking for. We only have one opportunity at present so we are looking for the right person. Please send your details today so we can speak to you.

This is an employed position.

Please note - If offered a position you will be asked what level of DBS you have or you will be asked to obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) status update and provide proof of HCPC and CSP registration prior to starting with us. We are unable to sponsor you.

How Many Edge Computing Tools Do You Need to Know to Get an Edge Computing Job?

If you’re trying to start or grow a career in edge computing, it can feel like you’re navigating a maze of tools, frameworks and platforms — Kubernetes, Docker, IoT frameworks, AWS Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, OpenShift, TinyML toolkits, networking orchestration, real-time streaming frameworks, and on it goes. Scroll job boards and community forums and it’s easy to conclude that unless you master every buzzword imaginable, you’ll never get a job. Here’s the honest truth most edge computing hiring managers won’t necessarily say out loud: 👉 They don’t hire you because you know every edge computing tool — they hire you because you can solve real system problems using the tools you know. Tools matter, yes — but only when they support clear outcomes: reliable systems, performance at scale, secure edge deployments and real business value. So how many edge computing tools do you actually need to know to secure a job? For most edge computing roles, the answer is fewer than you think — and a lot clearer when sorted by fundamentals and roles. This guide shows you what matters, what doesn’t, and how to focus your time wisely so you come across as capable, confident and employable.

What Hiring Managers Look for First in Edge Computing Job Applications (UK Guide)

In today’s fast-evolving tech landscape, edge computing is one of the most sought-after fields — blending distributed systems, embedded systems, networking, cloud, IoT, data and real-time processing. But that also means hiring managers are highly selective. They scan applications fast and look for signals of relevance, impact, technical depth and real-world delivery long before they read every line. This guide demystifies what hiring managers in edge computing look for first in your application — so you can tailor your CV, portfolio and cover letter to jump out of the stack. Whether you’re targeting edge systems roles, embedded IoT edge jobs, edge-native data roles, edge platform engineering or edge-AI positions, this checklist will help you position your experience in a way hiring managers can trust immediately.

The Skills Gap in Edge Computing Jobs: What Universities Aren’t Teaching

Edge computing is rapidly moving from niche concept to critical infrastructure. As organisations deploy connected devices, sensors, autonomous systems and real-time analytics, processing data closer to where it is generated has become essential. From smart cities and manufacturing to healthcare, transport, defence and telecommunications, edge computing underpins systems where latency, reliability and resilience matter. Demand for edge computing skills across the UK is rising steadily — yet employers consistently report difficulty finding candidates who are genuinely job-ready. Despite growing interest and academic coverage, universities are not fully preparing graduates for real edge computing jobs. This article explores the edge computing skills gap in depth: what universities teach well, what they consistently miss, why the gap exists, what employers actually want, and how jobseekers can bridge the divide to build sustainable careers in edge computing.
