Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable person to join the pharmacy homecare team based at Aintree Hospital. This team manages prescriptions for specialist medicines from 25 different clinical teams across Liverpool University Hospitals, including LUHFT and the Walton Centre. Full training will be provided in the specialist area of pharmacy.


Responsibilities

  • Process prescriptions for specialist medicines.
  • Process invoices received from homecare providers, ensuring accurate records and payment through the hospital finance team.
  • Answer queries from patients, clinical teams and homecare providers to support safe and effective medication delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the homecare delivery system.

Qualifications

  • Organised, flexible and detail‑oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Capability to work with clinical teams and manage specialist prescriptions.
