Senior MSK Physiotherapist

Location: Wakefield with travel to Leeds/Bradford/Cleckheaton
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours
Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 depending on experience

Purpose of the Role

Pure Physiotherapy is excited to welcome passionate and skilled MSK Physiotherapists to our team during a period of significant growth, driven by our reputation for delivering exceptional care across all MSK pathways. This role offers a rewarding clinical career with structured development opportunities. The role includes the opportunity to support junior team members and develop line management and mentoring skills.

This position is ideal for clinicians who want to grow beyond senior clinical practice. As part of your development, you will gain exposure to leadership responsibilities as well as a mixed clinical caseload.

This includes:


  • Mentoring and supporting junior clinicians.
  • Involvement in service development and operational decision making.
  • Participation in supervision, CPD delivery, and team training.
  • Coaching and guidance from existing Area Leads.
  • Access to leadership development resources and structured progression planning.
  • Your progression will be guided, transparent, and aligned with your career goals.
Key Focus Areas and Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to establish accurate clinical diagnoses.
  • Provide patient centred, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with best practice.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records in line with HCPC standards.
  • Complete medical reports promptly and professionally.
  • Confidently deliver diagnoses, advice, prognosis, and treatment plans.
  • Promote patient led care and ensure informed consent throughout treatment.
  • Engage in ongoing CPD to maintain and enhance clinical competence.
Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 years’ MSK experience.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience working within UK healthcare settings.
  • Experience of line management or mentoring.

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
