Following continued project wins and new client partnerships, we're looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Waste & Generation team based across our Redditch and Newcastle upon Tyne offices.

As part of our Waste & Generation team, you'll contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, including Energy-from-Waste (EfW) facilities, District Heating networks, Gasification & hydrogen generation schemes, Biogas & Anaerobic Digestion plants amongst other technologies. You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle - from early optioneering & feasibility through to detailed design & installation.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting site surveys and technical investigations
  • Developing mechanical designs, specifications and project-wide solutions
  • Supporting the production of drawings, 3D models, P&IDs, schedules and reports
  • Preparing specifications and scoping documents for construction packages
  • Reviewing vendor designs and monitoring progress
About You

You will be an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, ideally with a background in the energy, power or process-plant sectors. Along with a strong understanding of mechanical systems such as steam, piping, hydrogen, biomass or EfW technologies. Chartership status would be ideal or actively progressing towards this status is encouraged.
