The Senior Craft Person is responsible for pipe work assembly (Mechanical)

This position is located in Droitwich Spa, with possible travel to customer sites

In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:

GENERAL DUTIES

  1. Maintain good housekeeping standards adhering to 5S standards
  2. Health and safety of oneself and others
  3. Ensure all tools are accounted for in stores each day
  4. Allocation of work to craft person and sub-contractors
  5. Co-lead Kaizen events
  6. Assembly quality – right first time
  7. Use only material specified and allocated for each job
  8. Discharge all responsibilities in a timely, accurate, conscientious, and professional manner
  9. Work in a flexible and cooperative manner according to the fluctuating demands of the business

MECHANICAL DUTIES

  1. Pipework – ensure assembly complies with WI1
  2. Completion of multi-section plantrooms
  3. On-time completion of work
  4. Signing of job cards and test certificates
  5. Hydrostatic or pneumatic testing of jobs

MECHANICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  1. H & V Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or minimum of five years H & V site installation experience
  2. CSCS Card Holder
  3. Coach Craft Person/s and Assistants
  4. Ability to read and understand schematic and GA drawings

GENERAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  1. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  2. Excellent time keeping
  3. Good communication
  4. Hard working
  5. Highly motivated to improve customer experience and reduce costs
  6. Positive attitude to problem-solving
  7. Motivate team members
