This is not pure Python dev role but is Dev/Ops supporting FaaST platform as well as GCIB AML Refresh application which runs on FaaST Hence the very wide set of desirable skills, including Quartz (though I explained to FaaST team that is unlikely). FaaST description from AppHQ - user base is more than 2000 across the bank, including quantitative analysts and traders / trading support, Quartz, Data Scientists, etc.

The Role

The role is dev/ops and is split between supporting KYC / AML Client Outreach applications and supporting quantitative analysts (quants) in Global Corporate and Investment Banking and Global Markets lines of business who utilise Bank of America's Big Data and Analytics platforms, on which KYC / AML Client Outreach applications also run.
The Client Outreach KYC / AML Operations and Development Teams
The Client Outreach Operations team are the front-line unit who work with Bank of America clients as part of meeting Know Your Client (KYC) periodic refresh and remediation requirements. They work in close collaboration with Global Corporate and Investment Bankers and Global Markets Sales to support the Bank's global regulatory and policy requirements as it relates to Client Due Diligence (CDD) documentation collection, with support from Operations and Global Financial Crimes Risk teams.
KYC Client Outreach Quantitative Solutions Support
The KYC Client Outreach Quantitative Solutions development team are based in the London, the US and India and support and develop applications enabling the front line Client Outreach operations teams to onboard, maintain and monitor relationships with clients trading / wishing to trade through Bank of America.
The successful candidate will work closely with the KYC Client Outreach Quantitative Solutions development team and will have the opportunity to gain expertise in this fast moving and expanding aspect of global investment banking.
Big Data/Analytics Platform Support - FaaST
FaaST is the Global Markets solution for end-user computing and analytics/reporting/research. We service over 2000+ users and growing and provide a large-scale offering that includes Jupyter notebooks, full-fledged IDE capabilities, and distributed computing that handles many highly-visible applications involving backtesting, algo refinement, reporting, risk calculations and trading desk
