About the role - Skilled Mechanic

  • The main role of this position is maintaining our fleet of vehicles at Kings Lynn to the highest standard, carrying out fault diagnosis, vehicle safety inspections, breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
  • The successful applicant will be trained how to use the depot forklift.
  • To fully comply with all HS&E legislation along with Group Policies
  • To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain and develop technical skills as required

We\'ll provide your overalls and the tools and equipment needed.

Location: Kings Lynn (there may be occasional requirement to work at our partner depot in Norwich)

Hourly Rate: £19.33 per hour £39,201 per annum with a weekend premium of £20.73 per hour if any of your working days are on a weekend

Working Hours: 39 hours per week - 5 over 7 days early shifts between 5am-5:30pm

About you
  • A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds Level 1&2)
  • Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering Environment
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • An aptitude to develop others within the Engineering Team
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors
  • A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential
