At Task Consumer Products, we're proud to be the largest independent paper converter in the UK, manufacturing a wide range of toilet tissue and kitchen towel products.

As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our Engineering Team and have opportunities for both Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join us at our Wolverhampton site.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key part of the on-site Engineering Team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimising our production machinery and ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. You'll contribute to scheduled maintenance, tackle breakdowns, and work across a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment.

For Mechanical Engineers:

Perform planned mechanical maintenance tasks

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults

Respond promptly to breakdowns

Welding experience is desirable

For Electrical Engineers:

Respond to and diagnose electrical faults and breakdowns

Fault find and repair control system and software issues

Support ongoing reliability and performance improvements

Across all roles:

Plan and undertake scheduled preventative maintenance

Keep accurate maintenance records and reports

Work collaboratively to maintain BRC standards and ensure safe working practices

What We're Looking For

We're seeking experienced engineers with a background in FMCG manufacturing (ideally within a BRC-certified environment). You should be confident working in a fast-paced, production-led setting and have the following:

Proven experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance

Familiarity with PLCs, pneumatics, and industrial machinery

A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

The flexibility to work rotating shifts and occasional weekends
