Mechanical LEN EngineerSalary: £43,860 (Potential Uplift to £48,000 – Pending Review)Hours: Mon-Fri (6/2 - 2/10 - 10/6)Holiday: 25 Days + Bank HolidaysEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentBenefits: Free parking, on-site canteen, pension eligibility after 6 monthsAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical LEN Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical maintenance background who enjoys hands-on problem solving, continuous improvement, and working with a wide variety of machinery.Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks as per the CMMS schedule Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently, ensuring accurate reporting of all actions via CMMS Support proactive maintenance by identifying and implementing improvements to reduce downtime Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times Assist in maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring contractor compliance with site standards Collaborate with team members to maximise labour efficiency and shift performance Participate in training and upskilling to maintain high technical capability Train others where needed and support cross-functional team development Prioritise workload to support production and engineering KPIs Contribute to a culture of ownership, improvement, and engineering excellence Essential Skills & Experience: Mechanical engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC or equivalent) Strong mechanical bias (up to 100%) with hands-on experience in bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and hydraulics Proven experience in a manufacturing or production maintenance role Familiarity with CMMS systems and strong fault-finding capabilities Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving Willingness to work within a KPI-driven environment and to strict deadlines Why Apply?
