Salary: £35,000 £44,000


Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle professional ready to inspire the next generation of learners? We re working with a well-regarded land-based college in Berkshire, known for its strong industry links, modern facilities, and commitment to practical, career-focused education.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department where your industry knowledge will directly shape student success.


You ll be delivering high-quality teaching across motor vehicle programmes, supporting students from entry level through to advanced study and apprenticeships. The role combines classroom delivery with hands-on practical training, ensuring learners gain the skills and knowledge required by today s automotive industry.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions that support student progression
  • Assess student work and track progress using electronic systems
  • Contribute to curriculum development and ensure content remains industry-relevant
  • Provide pastoral support as a personal tutor
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning strategies
  • Maintain strong links with industry to keep programmes current

What We re Looking For

  • A relevant Motor Vehicle qualification (minimum Level 3)
  • Industry experience within the motor vehicle sector
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Experience delivering or supporting vocational/apprenticeship training (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage learners of all levels
  • A passion for education and student development
