Job Description:

My client is looking for a highly skilled Microsoft 365 specialist to join their Projects team.

As a Microsoft 365 Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, implementing, and managing a range of Microsoft 365 technologies. You will work closely with clients to ensure their digital environments are optimised for productivity, security, and collaboration. This role requires a methodical approach, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

This role involves working in a hybrid environment, where you will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of 3 days a week. The office days are necessary for attending pre-sales client / prospect meetings, client workshops, training, conducting lunch and learn with peers and other members of the Engineering team.

You will be reporting to the Project Management Office and work alongside the Head of Microsoft 365 to deliver on Microsoft 365 Projects for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• PowerShell Scripting for Microsoft 365 implementation and migrations
• Providing security recommendations and supporting the implementation of security requirements across the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Deploy and implement Microsoft 365 solutions, including Identity and Access Management, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange.
• Develop and manage Data Loss Prevention policies and Data Life Cycle processes.
• Ensure comprehensive Information Protection across client environments.
• Facilitate hybrid cloud architectures, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises infrastructure and cloud services
• Conducting workshops to assist with the deployment of Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring clients understand the implementation process
• Support clients in their digital transformation journey by helping them to adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot
• Provide guidance and training on how to use Microsoft 365 Copilot effectively and efficiently

Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience of managing Microsoft 365 migrations at Enterprise level

• You would have worked on multiple Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint design and implementation.

• Someone who is a specialist within their engineering role providing deep technical skills to apply to hands on implementation work as defined in statements of work and solution designs created earlier in the sales and delivery process.

• Have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

• Keen problem-solving skills (Analytical and Creative)

• Experience working within an Agile team environment

• Ability to quickly acquire new skills

• Interpreting client requirements to identify potential challenges whilst demonstrating potential returns on their investment

• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including Identity and Access Management, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange

• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

Qualifications:
• A degree in computing or a related field

• Candidates with the following Microsoft Certifications are desired for this role

o AZ – 104 – Azure Administrator Associate
o SC – 300 – Identity and Access Administrator Associate
o MS – 102 – Microsoft 365 Administrator

Experience:

• Relevant experience of minimum 1 Year in a similar role (preference given to candidates with UK MSP experience)
