MECHANICAL TEST & DOCUMENTATION ENGINEERPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Test & Documentation Engineer to join our well-established client based in Wolverhampton, WV4 on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a key engineering role, offering a competitive salary and genuine opportunities for progression and development.Shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (39 hours per week)Salary: £50,000 – £52,000 per annumBenefits:  • Company pension scheme  • Free on-site parking  • Long-term permanent opportunity with career development  • Attendance bonus upon successful completion of recruitmentDay-to-Day Duties:  • Develop and execute comprehensive mechanical testing plans to ensure product reliability and compliance  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test reports, procedures, and validation records  • Conduct factory and site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) to ensure equipment meets performance standards  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to refine testing processes and improve product quality  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, providing corrective actions where required  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, compliance, and quality control standards  • Manage test schedules, documentation workflows, and report findings to key stakeholdersEssential Skills:  • HNC (or equivalent) or higher in an engineering field  • Proven experience in mechanical testing, validation, and technical documentation  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including relevant industry standards such as BS7671  • Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail  • Eligibility for UK Security ClearanceDesirable Experience:  • Experience in test environments within engineering or manufacturing  • Familiarity with documentation and compliance procedures  • Knowledge of continuous improvement processesTraining Provided:  • Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughoutApply Today – Don't Miss Out!
