A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a reputable and growing contractor in Dartford. This is a key position within the Estimating team, supporting the Estimating Manager in the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality tenders across a range of mechanical and electrical projects.

The Role

As an Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for:

Reviewing and analysing tender documentation, raising RFI’s where required

*

Liaising with the supply chain and issuing enquiries

*

Completing take-offs in line with standard estimating practices

*

Vetting incoming tender/offers and ensuring the most commercially viable options are included

*

Preparing tenders for internal adjudication

*

Presenting costing approaches, programme durations, and project risks during adjudication meetings

*

Ensuring timely and accurate tender submissions

*

Supporting handover of successful projects to the operations team
