My client, a specialist manufacturing business are on the hunt for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team!

Role and Responsibilities – Mechanical Engineering Technician
In this role, you will be assembling complex components and products for the scientific industry in line with tight tolerances and customer demand.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting – identifying, documenting, resolving and reporting technical issues during the assembly process
  • Actively work with the D.O. to improve products and increase efficiency of assembly processes.
  • Quality control and inspection – Conducting visual inspections to ensure products meet quality and specifications throughout the assembly process

Experience or Qualifications – Mechanical Engineering Technician

  • NVQ or HNC Qualified in Engineering field
  • Previous experience in assembly ideally within a scientific environment
  • Experience working to tight tolerances
  • Welding, Soldering and Fabrication experience (desirable)
