Mechanical Commissioning Manager


We are seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Manager to join a major Commercial Project in London. This is an opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile site, leading the mechanical commissioning and ensuring all systems are tested, validated, and delivered to the highest standards, helping drive project excellence through to successful project completion.

The Role


Reporting to the Project Director, the Mechanical Commissioning Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of commissioning activities, ensuring all systems are inspected, tested, and commissioned in line with project specifications and industry standards.


Responsibilities


  • Lead and coordinate all mechanical commissioning activities to deliver fully tested and operational M&E systems to the client
  • Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to support the successful delivery of building services systems
  • Manage subcontractor testing and commissioning activities, including witnessing tests and reviewing documentation
  • Identify commissioning requirements, including specialist test equipment and resources
  • Support the preparation and review of Commissioning and Testing RAMS
  • Carry out quality inspections during pre-commissioning and commissioning stages
  • Coordinate commissioning activities with other trades to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Resolve commissioning issues quickly and ensure all deficiencies are addressed in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate commissioning reports and documentation
  • Ensure all personnel involved in commissioning activities meet required EHS training and safety standards


About You


Your Experience

  • Previous experience communicating on the projects progress to key stakeholders, such as the project director, client, architects, engineers
  • Ability to priorities workload
  • Recognises own strengths and weaknesses and committed to ongoing development
  • Acceptance of responsibility and accountability


Your Qualifications

  • Mechanically Qualified
  • Strong knowledge of Cx practices
