Mechanical Building Services Engineer
£17.00 PAYE
Ongoing temporary contract
As the Mechanical Services Engineer you will be required to carry out varied duties including:
Responding to reactive maintenance calls across the hospital (leaks, temperature issues, no water, toilets not flushing)
Mechanical plant maintenance: AHUs, pumps, HVAC, steam/condensate, medical gas systems, TMV maintenance, basic electrical lamping where required
Supporting PPM tasks where capacity allows
Working within a site-based team and escalating to senior engineers when required
Confident with:

HVAC / AHUs
Pumps & valves
TMVs
Basic plumbing
Basic first-fix electrical (lamp changes)

Requirements of the Mechanical Services Engineer:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline (Plumbing, Mechanical Maintenance, HVAC, etc.)
Able to work independently on nights without immediate supervision
Basic DBS
