They work hard to ensure our refreshing, flavorful beverages are bottled safely and on time. The Maintenance Mechanic will maintain the operational capability of all equipment in the Preston production plant. Coordinates with production leadership to ensure a smooth flow of production. Bring your mechanic know-how, and we’ll teach you how to apply it to our bottling and packaging equipment!Reports to: Maintenance SupervisorDirect Reports: NALocation: Onsite at our Preston, WA office 5 days a weekDiscretionary Bonus Potential: Up to $900 bi-annually. Eligibility is based on Plant and Company profitability.Base Hourly Rate: $30 - $34/hour + shift differential for hours worked outside of 1st shiftNote: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 PM -4:30 AM* Maintain and repair all plant equipment and machinery.* Perform all work orders as required.* Perform troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical problems as they occur.* Make sure all preventive maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner.* Keep track of all problems that occur on the shift and convey the information to the supervisor, lead, and/or respective department manager.* Interact, cooperate, and coordinate tasks with other workers through positive communication.* Notify appropriate department(s) when encountering situations that may impact production efficiencies.* Seek to improve process, develop best practices, and ensure quality; share these ideas with supervisor for support.* Maintain and promote a safe and sanitary environment by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).* Seek to improve processes, develop best practices, and ensure quality.* Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, advising your immediate manager of any food safety and/or quality issues.* Complete other responsibilities as assigned.WHAT YOU BRING* 2+ years of Maintenance experience, ideally in manufacturing.* High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience.* Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends for special assignments.* Ability to accommodate overtime, occasionally working other shifts and weekends.* Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.* Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. repetitively, as well as to push and pull up to 100 lbs. regularly.This role is safety-sensitive. Drive to work with another Rain Maker every week at least 2X a week and receive mileage reimbursement.* 401k with Immediate Vesting.
