MEICA Lead – Senior Water Industry Roles

Locations: Milton Keynes Or Warrington / Preston

About the Role

We are recruiting for two full-time, senior positions to drive delivery across major water industry projects. These roles are ideal for experienced MEICA Leads or M&E Managers / Leads looking to step into a strategic, senior position.


You will be responsible for defining and delivering MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) strategy and performance across multiple projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring successful project delivery across the full lifecycle – from pre-construction and procurement through to commissioning and handover – while driving safety, quality, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement MEICA delivery strategy across water projects
  • Lead procurement strategies and manage subcontractor arrangements
  • Report on performance, risks, and key issues to senior management
  • Drive a strong HSEQ culture across multiple project sites
  • Ensure consistent implementation of safety and quality procedures
  • Oversee programme delivery and contribute to constructability reviews
  • Plan and manage MEICA resources across all project stages
  • Maintain robust technical governance throughout delivery and handover
  • Collaborate with design, commercial, and civil engineering teams
  • Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships


About You

  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering (BEng / HNC / HND)
  • Proven experience delivering major water industry or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of water industry standards and supply chain
  • Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams
  • CSCS card
  • SMSTS or IOSH (4-day) certification
