Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to progress your career within a forward-thinking consultancy? We're working with a well-established building services firm in Nottingham seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and work across a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential, healthcare, and education developments.

What You'll Be Doing

*

Leading the design of mechanical building services systems including HVAC, heating, ventilation, and public health

*

Managing projects from concept through to completion

*

Producing and reviewing detailed calculations, reports, and specifications

*

Overseeing design work using AutoCAD and Revit

*

Attending client and site meetings, acting as a key point of contact

*

Mentoring and supporting junior engineers

*

Driving energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions

What We're Looking For

*

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering

*

Proven experience within a building services consultancy environment

*

Strong technical design knowledge across mechanical systems

*

Experience leading or supporting project delivery

*

Familiarity with industry software (AutoCAD/Revit)

*

Excellent communication and leadership skills

*

Working towards or already achieved Chartership (desirable)
