We’re looking for someone with network and infrastructure experience who can support the plant operational (e.g. fault finding, dealing with data/communication issues, problems in server room etc). They will also be involved in the initial system implementation but is not expected to be an expert in this.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee and manage the operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) infrastructure critical to the manufacturing processes within the gigafactory.

  • Ensure seamless operation of IT systems, networks, and applications to support manufacturing efficiency and continuity.

  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing stakeholders to align infrastructure strategies with business needs.

  • Manage OT systems such as SCADA, PLCs, and IoT devices, alongside IT infrastructure including networks and servers.

  • Drive infrastructure projects, including planning, organising, budget management, and vendor negotiations.

  • Resolve complex issues within OT and IT systems to minimise disruption to manufacturing operations.

    What You Will Bring:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with expertise in OT and IT integration within manufacturing environments.

  • Proven experience managing OT systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs) and IT infrastructure in manufacturing settings.

  • Knowledge of applications such as MES, PLM, LIMS, CAD, and other digital solutions relevant to manufacturing processes.

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration between IT, OT, and business stakeholders.

  • Experience in planning and executing infrastructure projects with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
