Overview

Highly Specialist MSK Physiotherapist/Team Leader required to join Venture & Agents. The role combines a demanding clinical caseload for adult MSK patients with day-to-day management of a small MSK department, providing clinical and managerial leadership within the MSK service.

Responsibilities
  • Manage an adult MSK caseload across acute and chronic conditions in both primary and secondary care, within the MSK Physiotherapy service based at Bromyard Community Hospital, Herefordshire.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision within the MSK department and work as part of a dedicated MSK team including specialist physiotherapists, advanced practice, and FCP colleagues.
  • Lead and contribute to development initiatives to progress the MSK service within Herefordshire.
  • Engage in local and national research and audit; identify and initiate improvements across the wider MSK service.
  • Participate in day-to-day management of the department while delivering high-quality patient care with advanced clinical reasoning for diverse and complex presentations.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and musculoskeletal clinical skills; ability to provide clinical and managerial leadership within an MSK department.
  • Experience contributing to research and audit within an MSK service.
  • Ability to work within a committed MSK team and collaborate with specialist physiotherapists, advanced practitioners, and FCP colleagues.
  • Clinical excellence in MSK physiotherapy with advanced clinical reasoning for complex cases.

This role is part of the NHS Trusts in Herefordshire and involves working across local MSK services with opportunities to engage in service development and improvement initiatives.
