£20.00 - £28.00 per hour + Overtime + Tools Provided + On-Call Allowance

Are you an experienced HGV Mechanic or Plant Fitter looking to join a growing waste management company maintaining a varied fleet of vehicles and heavy plant equipment? On offer is the opportunity to join an established waste management company with a large and varied fleet including walking floor trailers, tipper trailers, hook loaders, skip loaders, shredders, crushers, and excavators. The company provides the necessary tools and support for engineers to maintain equipment to high safety and operational standards.

In this role, you will carry out maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across the company\'s fleet of HGVs, trailers, and plant equipment. You will also support MOT preparation, roadside breakdowns, and workshop operations to ensure all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HGV Mechanic or Plant Fitter with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance. You will have strong fault-finding skills, experience working on HGVs or plant equipment, and a full UK driving licence.

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs, trailers, and plant equipment.
  
• Preparing vehicles and trailers for MOT and completing six-week inspections.
  
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and supporting roadside breakdowns.

• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  
• Experience working on heavy vehicles, trailers, or plant machinery.
  
• Full UK driving license.
