Just Recruitment is working with a growing business, at the forefront of their sector - due to retirement, they are looking to add a Field Installation Engineer (mechanical) to add to their team on a permanent basis. This is very much a national role, frequent travel and overnight stays are required.
Key responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning: Installing new equipment, conducting acceptance testing to ensure compliance with standards
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in potentially challenging
environments
Working within diverse environments (Construction sites to high-pressure areas)
Keeping accurate records of installation, commissioning, and repairs and asset management in databases.
Provide user training to end clients when required
Provide feedback to customers on any issues raised during an installation visit
To be considered for this exciting role you must be able to demonstrate a background working in a mechanical field service or mechanical installation/fitter role, gained within a capital equipment environment. Preferably with an Engineering qualification (NVQ, apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds craft certificate, or HNC/HND in engineering).
You must have impeccable customer service skills and a confident and professional manner in customer facing environments.
You will need to possess a CSCS card or equivalent.
