Our mission is to cultivate a world-class, flexible, and engaged maintenance team that drives improved factory performance and reliability.As an Equipment Engineering Specialist, reporting to the Equipment Technician Manager, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of technology. You'll be responsible for maintaining world-class performance on leading-edge semiconductor equipment, ensuring our factory operates at peak efficiency.Our continuously evolving team adheres to the highest quality and safety standards, guaranteeing that our site delivers on all future products and technologies. This role offers excellent opportunities for career development and growth within a facility that is positioned at the heart of the global HDD industry.About the roleYou will be working a rotating 12-hours shift pattern. This will include days and nigh working shifts to include: - 4 days on 4 days off, 2 days on 2 days off, 3 days on 3 days off, 2 days on 2 days off). The rota will then repeat.The role will have the responsibility of maintaining a safe working environment, providing immediate response and efficient resolutions to down-time situations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Maintain production tools within critical process parameters.
  • Troubleshoot and restore production tools from unexpected downtimes.
  • Assist in the installation and qualification of production equipment.
  • Collaborate on engineering projects to enhance equipment reliability and process capability.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities and update the Equipment Technician Manager.
  • Conduct cost-effective repairs of faulty components.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Be adaptable to take on other duties or shifts as needed to support business needs.
  • Participate in and support business excellence initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • You will bring a strong technical profile with demonstrated relevant 2 years’ experience in equipment maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnosis.
  • You will have a minimum Level 3 mechanical/electrical/engineering/ equipment maintenance/ IT related or other relevant qualification or recognised completed apprenticeship.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
