An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Band 7 Trauma & Orthopaedics Physiotherapist to join an NHS Trauma & Orthopaedics service in Milton Keynes. This ongoing, part-time locum role is ideal for clinicians seeking flexibility while continuing to develop their expertise within a fast-paced and rewarding acute setting.

What you will do:

Deliver high-quality physiotherapy interventions to inpatients within the NHS Trauma & Orthopaedics department.

Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation programmes to meet individual patient needs.

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities / General Duties:

Manage patients with complex musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, applying evidence-based practice.

Contribute actively to discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate onward referrals.

Monitor, evaluate, and accurately document patient progress, adapting treatment plans to optimise outcomes.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics physiotherapy.

Driving licence preferred due to service requirements.
