Band 6 Physiotherapist in Mental Health – Ipswich, UK – £26 Hourly, Full Time or Part Time Considered, ASAP Start – Ongoing. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join a vibrant team in a mental health setting. What you will do:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment interventions for older adult inpatients with mental health conditions both functional and organic.
  • Conduct falls assessments and contribute actively within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer input on adult mental health wards as required, ensuring patient-centric care.
  • Lead your own caseload, working independently as the sole physiotherapist on site under the guidance of the AHP lead.
  • Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, gym instructors, and nursing staff to deliver holistic care.

Requirements:

  • Current HCPC registration is mandatory.
  • At least two years of experience working within a mental health setting is essential.
  • Experience with older persons is a must.
  • In-date PMVA Training.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferable for this role.
