Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-quality, patient‑centred physiotherapy across a range of community settings. You'll work autonomously and as part of a dynamic multi‑disciplinary team, which includes nurses, paramedics, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and more.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred physiotherapy to support rehabilitation and independence at home.
  • Manage your own caseload across a wide range of conditions and levels of complexity.
  • Work closely with GPs, Consultants, Nurses, Paramedics, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and other professionals.
  • Prevent avoidable hospital admissions and facilitate timely, safe discharges.
  • Participate in the supportive weekend rota (no overnight on‑call commitment).
  • Engage in internal rotation opportunities, including Urgent Community Response work, to diversify your clinical skills.

Position Details

We're recruiting for an individual to join our Physiotherapy services on a part‑time fixed‑term or secondment opportunity, for a 12‑month contract, within our friendly Intermediate Care and Community Therapy Team in Newton Abbot. Whether you're already working at Band 6 level or you're an experienced Band 5 ready for the next step, we'd love to hear from you!
