About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Agricultural Mechanic to join JCB Farms Limited, based on the Wootton Estate near Farley. This role offers the chance to work in a well‑equipped workshop, maintaining and servicing a wide range of machinery that keeps our farming operations running smoothly.


What does this role involve day to day?

  • Maintaining and servicing JCB Loadalls, Fastracs, excavators, and a variety of ground‑care equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Ensuring all machinery operates safely, reliably, and to the highest standards
  • Working independently and as part of a team to meet operational needs

This is a hands‑on role where your expertise will make a real difference to the performance and reliability of our equipment.


This will be suited to you if…

  • You have previous experience in agricultural or heavy machinery maintenance (advantageous but not essential)
  • You have strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • You're a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • You're proactive, self‑motivated, and committed to achieving high standards
  • You have good communication skills and enjoy working with others
  • You're willing to learn and develop new skills—knowledge of JCB equipment is desirable, but full training will be provided
