Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (MSK)

Contract Type: Permanent.
Salary: £50,000.00 - £51,000.00 pro rata

We’re seeking an experienced, autonomous physiotherapist to join our forward-thinking team as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional MSK care while contributing to research, education, and service development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently assess and manage a complex MSK caseload using advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based approaches.
  • Serve as a clinical expert and advocate for patients, ensuring personalised and high-quality care.
  • Provide mentorship and line management to physiotherapists working in FCP roles and support the development of APP capacity.
  • Lead and contribute to clinical governance, including risk assessments, incident reporting, and complaints management.
  • Champion service quality and continuous improvement by implementing NICE standards and encouraging feedback-driven enhancements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • HCPC Registration
  • BSc in Physiotherapy
  • FCP roadmap sign off stage 1 and 2.
  • Minimum 5 years of MSK clinical experience
  • UK Driver
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to collaboration, innovation, and patient-centred care
  • Injection therapy certification

Additional Duties and Opportunities:

  • Actively contribute to service development, audit, and strategic planning.
  • Deliver specialist education to MDT colleagues and supervise students and trainees.
  • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives, with opportunities for publication and conference presentation.
  • Maintain ongoing professional development and compliance with regulatory standards.
