Are you looking for a chance to work in a dynamic outpatient setting within the MSK service in Somerset?

We have a Band 5 post available at Bridgwater Community Hospital.

You will work closely alongside the team, including Exercise Instructors, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Band 7 Clinicians, FCP's, Minor Injury unites, Orthopaedic interface service, as well as other AHP's.

We offer a generous CPD allowance for our band 5's, including quarterly in-service training, service and clinical away days and specific band 5 training. There are many opportunities of growth and development of both yourself and the wider service. Our experienced Band 7 and 8 clinicians work within the departments providing support and joint clinical sessions to enhance your learning and patient experience.

Main duties of the job

Provide a high standard of therapy service to musculoskeletal outpatients.

Provide advice regarding the musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients referred to the service.

Participate in the development of the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service.

Actively participate in your own clinical development.

Work without direct supervision. Supervision takes the form of regular formal training, clinical reasoning sessions and peer review. Access to advice and support is available from senior therapists within the team.

Be responsible for the safe and correct use of equipment within the department.

Provide support, guidance and training to Peers, students, and Exercise Instructors.
