A new opportunity has arisen for a Solutions Architect to work on a high-profile transformation programme within the MoD that will have a significant impact on the UK’s future military capability.

This role will suit an enthusiastic, mission-focused individual who will be responsible for designing and maintaining solution architecture aligned with the programme’s vision.

The Role

The Solutions Architect will design hybrid cloud solutions which are secure and scalable, developing transitional architecture and roadmaps which enable the delivery of relevant outcomes. You’ll collaborate with cross functional teams, customers and stakeholders and work closely with engineering and DevOps teams in a mature Agile environment.

Requirements

This role requires a Solutions Architect who is able to translate complex technical requirements for non-technical audiences, has proven experience within hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the ability to work with both HLDs and LLDs. You will have an understanding of architectural modelling languages, micro-service architecture and container deployment.

Security Clearance

A min. of SC Clearance is required for this role.
