The Role


We are looking for a Skilled Maintenance Operative with a mechanical/HVAC bias to join our team. You will be responsible for the delivery of maintenance services and processes that support the operation of all sites on campus, setting and ensuring the highest standards of safety and maintenance for MCFC’s employees and customers.


Your Impact



  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems at all MCFC sites to the highest standard, in line with MCFC procedures, legislative, environmental, and certifying authorities’ compliance and best practice
  • Maintain, repair, and inspect heating, ventilation, and air conditioning assets
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and fault-find safely and logically
  • Support minor installation, upgrade, and adaptation works
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and with the Maintenance Managers on Planned Preventive Maintenance and life cycle schedules for all buildings.

Essential


What we are looking for



  • Recognised Mechanical/Plumbing Apprenticeship/NVQ
  • Experience in a complex maintenance environment
  • Strong knowledge of AHUs, chilled water, water systems, and A/C units
  • Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance

Desirable



  • Knowledge of building management systems
  • Experience with a CAFM system
  • Certified in IPAF, PASMA
  • Full, clean driving licence
